The client’s brief was a lighting scheme that would create a cosy, relaxed ambience. In response to this, we designed a lighting plan that combines functionality with aesthetic appeal. We integrated adjustable spotlights strategically to highlight artwork and other focal points without creating discomfort in seating areas or causing glare that could detract from the relaxed setting.

To ensure that the artwork is displayed in its true colours, we selected high CRI (Colour Rendering Index) LED lights. These lights provide superior colour accuracy, making sure that each piece of art is viewed in the most flattering and authentic light. We also opted for a 2700K colour temperature across all lighting fixtures, which emits a soft, warm glow ideal for creating the desired ambience. To further enhance the versatility of the space, we made all lighting fixtures dimmable, allowing for easy adjustments to the intensity of light based on different times of day, activities, or moods.

A key feature of our design is the stunning pendant light suspended over the dining table. This fixture was carefully chosen not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its ability to serve as a central focal point in the open-plan lounge and dining area. Its balanced design complements the overall decor while drawing attention to the dining space, adding a touch of sophistication.

The client was delighted with the final lighting scheme, noting how it transformed the space into a welcoming haven perfect for both relaxation and social gatherings. Their positive feedback highlighted our careful attention to detail and our commitment to meeting their vision for a perfect ambience.
